The venue and its country setting are nice. There are plenty of things to entertain the family with the climbing frames and crazy golf, the issue was with the food and service, the menu changes by the night, when I visited it was basically burgers and chips both sold separately so don't order a burger thinking you are getting a meal, they are small and expensive and the there's the price of chips on top. So I don't mind price if the amount of food reflects, it doesn't, the burgers are really small for the price and then we get to the service, 40 minutes before our first drinks were brought too the table, 1 hour 35 before the burgers arrived and the was after the orders were taken some 15 minutes earlier, all in all my family with drinks before and after the meal we were here for 3hour and 10 minutes, we just wanted an evening meal not an all night excursion, I know you are all reading this thinking the Folkes must have been busy, it wasn't it wasn't even half full empty tables everywhere. I wouldn't recommend and I won't be returning anytime soon.

We are just home from an overnight birthday stay in a spa cabin. Wow is all I can say. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Unfortunately our sauna didn't work and we were given a £50 credit which paid for our evening meal which was …

We stayed in Spa cabin 2 and it was fantastic from start to finish. Sadly we lost a family member the day before our stay so whilst not feeling celebratory we couldn't fault the hotel, the staff were lovely, food was amazing. Hoping to come back at a happier time.
Rooms: Spa cabin is truly amazing

Fantastic night away in the spa cabin. A perfect place to book if you're looking for some time out and relaxation. We had the afternoon tea, dinner in the evening and the unlimited breakfast brunch. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly! 😊

Just had an amazing time at this venue . The layout in the restaurant is just right, the staff are lovely and so friendly.
Now the important bit ..the food... absolutely superb, we had the street food menu for Friday... with out a doubt one of the best meals we've all had. The ffolkes is our new favourite place to go eat.
The background music was just right and helped create an even better atmosphere.
We will be back.
Food & drinks: Just superb menu and bar menu is off the charts.

LOVE staying here so much. Second time staying in the spa cabin and had a wonderful time. The room was spotlessly clean, and the hot tub and sauna were ready to go. We had a lovely evening playing container golf and drinking cocktails and to top it off woke up this morning to a family of white deer in the field - such a nice touch being provided with binoculars to see them. Thank you to all the Ffolkes staff - I’m sure we’ll be back

Ffolkes is probably the best place I've stayed in a long time. Spa Room 1 was a delight to enter, if not awe inspiring. The site is correctly sized for the services offered. The car park is ample. The restaurant is comfortable even with many guests. The decor of the restaurant was entertaining both for us as adults and also for our children. A nice distraction while waiting for our food. The staff were professional, helpful, happy, and accommodating, as expected from a high-quality, affordable establishment, which is often hard to find nowadays. The room or private spa accommodation, as it is better described as, is the perfect getaway for any couple to create special memories at. It is also perfect for one person to go to, for the ultimate stress relief and tranquil safe space for when you have had a long and stressful work period.

My husband and I visited the Ffolkes to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in coaching room 6 and had the Sunday pie feast and breakfast the next morning.||We checked in at around 4pm and were pointed in the direction of our room. The room …
